* Not all projects for Start-ups can be shown as Pitch Decks and Research Posters contain sensitive data that are under lock and key (at this point). My most recent customer falling in that category is Mimotype Technologies.
Logo design and color concept for the lab group Lindlich Lab, which works on metabolic engineering in E. coli under the roof of Charité Berlin.
Mimotype provides optical active proteins (OAPs) to researchers in materials science, photonics, soft matter, biosensing and tissue engineering. Their flagship protein mScarlet3 enables live readouts of tissue growth and heralds a new era of organoid research in biomedicine.
Design for my iGEM Team 2026 starting for Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. We’re creating a yeast based biosensor to detect and catch PFAS for the cause of bioremediation. The application is designed to be used in water treatment facilities as response to arising EU regulations.
The image mark depics a side projection of a PFAS molecule and gives a sense of dynamic, reminding of a turning radar. The soft blue reflecting our usecase, the signal red for highlights, drawing attention and symbolizing our sensor funtionality as well as our passion for the subject.
Instagram post series to introduce our team members to fellow students and iGEMers on Instagram.
The educational series Workbench Wonders explains fundamental techniques and workflows of synthetic biology to fellow students and the next generation of iGEMers. Its goal is to introduce central technical terms and explain complex workflows an easy accessible way. The format are short Instagram Reels (1-2 minutes each). The script is held in a simple language with a humorous undertone.
Concept and animation were made by me, the script and editorial plan were developed in close cooperation with the core lab team.
Comic Strip as part of our 4-station-booth at Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften which explains the functionality
of our biosensor to german speaking kids and families with low scientific background knowledge.
Posters for the fundraiser event. Scientific poster (censored) and a decorative identity image poster for the event space.
Flyer for Crowdfunding. Message adapted to target group without scientific background.
Macadamia is a Bitcoin payment wallet designed for everyday spending. Unlike wallets built for long-term asset storage, Macadamia focuses on fast, simple, and reliable daily transactions using Cashu e-cash technology. The product was intentionally positioned as a refined alternative to the often playful and highly technical aesthetic common in the crypto space. Inspired by Apple’s design philosophy and built exclusively for iOS, the brand emphasizes clarity, trust, simplicity, and timeless elegance, making Bitcoin payments feel as intuitive and approachable as any modern payment app.

Development of a corporate identity, including two logo design sets and a color concept, for the early-stage startup Molecular Garden, which produces optimized natural products using an innovative metabolic engineering approach.
The color palette reflects the core values of the young company: a clean and reliable way of working combined with innovative technology for the creation of sustainable natural products.
A rich, warm fir green forms the foundation of the palette.
It conveys the company’s commitment to reliability and symbolizes its roots in nature. The deep green is harmoniously complemented by a vibrant light yellow-green, highlighting the innovative spirit of the synthetic biology start-up and creating distinctive accents.
A muted, soft lavender tone provides calm balance and subtle complementarity while gently reinforcing the company’s youthful character.
Logo and banner design for the German Conference on Synthetic Biology — Germany’s largest conference in synthetic biology. The logo is designed for versatile use across conference contexts, including presentations, digital and print materials, documents, and email signatures.

This animated explainer video presents AI as an actor in the sense of Actor–Network Theory (“Akteurs-Netzwerk-Theorie”). The script was developed in close collaboration with the lead research associate. Using Procreate and Adobe After Effects, I independently created the visual concept, illustrations, and animation. The audio was produced using a text-to-speech AI tool.
Visual design of data obtained from three representative population surveys conducted by ÖFIT.
Each dataset is embedded in a cohesive narrative, supported by hand-crafted illustrations. This emotionally engaging storytelling approach captures the reader’s attention, enhances accessibility, and facilitates the comprehension of complex data through cognitive relief.
Playful, illustrative communication of trend topics in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT), realized as a merchandise product with an educational component. Graphic design and illustrations by me.
Excerpts from various white paper publications created in accordance with the Fraunhofer Institute’s corporate design (layout, color palette, typography).
Excerpts of the publication: Kompetenzen für den Einsatz generativer Künstlicher Intelligenz in der Verwaltung.
Von mir angefertigt wurden Cover-illustration, poster and all graphical elements are made by me.
Excerpts of the publication: Kooperationen zwischen GovTech-Start-ups und der öffentlichen Verwaltung.
Illustrated icons structure the content clearly, assigning it to the respective development stages of the startup. Hand-crafted infographics accompany the impulse paper within the Fraunhofer corporate design, complemented by a curated selection of imagery.
Excerpts of the publication: Good Practices störungsresilienter, menschzentrierter Technikgestaltung.

Technical design for the task A Bench For Two. The materials to be used were drawn by lot.
Due to the limited space available in the student workshops, the milling of the skids was outsourced; the remaining components were manufactured and joined by hand.
Knife-Design Brotzeit. Laser-Scan of paper model, CAD modelling to optimize the design and 3D-print.
Pre-diploma 2018 on the topic Medical Design.
